MADDI JANE BIOGRAPHY

When Maddi Jane enters the
recording studio, her passion
for music is electrifying and
her vocal talent on the
microphone is undeniable. For
three years she has captivated
a worldwide audience of
millions. Her covers of chart-
topping songs like Adele’s
“Rolling in the Deep,” Jessie J’s
“Price Tag,” and Shontelle’s
“Impossible” have received
more than 270 million views on
YouTube. Now, the 14-year-old
singing sensation is about to
take her music career to the
next level, writing and
recording her debut album.
“I got my start in music when I
was 10, and I went to a
conference in Nashville at
Belmont University,” Maddi
Jane said in a recent interview
with StayFamous.Net.
After connecting with people in
the music business and taking
singing lessons from Brett
Manning, she met vocal coach
Jesse Nemitz and songwriter
Adam Fuller. They initially took
on a managerial role by
helping her to record covers of
some of her favorite songs. At
the time, Adam and Jesse were
also collaborating on projects
together, including the launch
of a new record label.
“Jesse and Adam approached
me and my family and wanted
to know if I’d be interested in
working with them, they were
starting a new label – JDF
Records,” Maddi said. “We
decided that our first move was
going to be to put up YouTube
videos and it kind of just went
from there.”
Not long after uploading her
first video, a cover of the song
“Breakeven (Falling to Pieces)”
by The Script, she received a
phone call from a producer at
the Ellen show.
“She called, less than a week
after we had put up ‘Break
Even.’ I was 11 and she flew
my whole family and I out to
LA and I went on the show,”
Maddi said. “I actually didn’t
really get nervous ’till I was
standing alone in the wings
about to go on. I was like,
‘Whoa, this is actually
happening.’”
Originally from Chicago,
Illinois, Maddi Jane has been
home-schooled since pre-
school. Over the years, her
commitment to music has
become an important part of
her life. She has not only
grown as a dedicated singer,
but she has also developed
into a prolific songwriter, as
well.
“She’s more mature than any
other 14 year-old I’ve ever met.
She’s years beyond her age,”
Adam said. “But she’s a
business women for sure. She
wants to get right down to
business.”
During her regular visits to
Nashville, she continues to
collaborate with Jesse Nemitz
and Adam Fuller, who helped
pen her first single,
“Barricade.”

“I started the song in my
parents’ basement about six
years ago and wrote it for a
good friend of mine that was
having some troubles,” Adam
said. “And then we decided to
adapt it for Maddi.”
In what was her first group
writing session, the trio
tailored the song to fit their
flagship solo artist.
“We were writing it based off
different experiences that all of
us have had,” Maddi said. “I
guess I was pulling from
different situations that I’ve
had with different friends
throughout the years.”
Overall, her new album, which
she has co-written, is expected
to have a pop sound to it like
many of the artists who have
influenced her music, including
Katy Perry, Cher Lloyd, Rihanna
and Maroon 5.
“She’s really coming into her
own as an artist, and really
becoming more of a recording
artist and less of a cover
artist,” Adam said. “She’s
turning into an incredible
performer. I think she’s going
to be huge. I think she’s going
to be very equivalent to what
Justin Bieber is today… They’re
very similar in a way. So I think
she’s going to have a fantastic
career for sure.”
With a passionate belief in his
client, Adam Fuller continues to
promote Maddi Jane and help
her build the right network to
take her career to the next
level.
What impresses him the most
he says about Maddi is her
ambition, her drive and her
professionalism.
“She really wants to be the
best, and you don’t really find
that at a young age, so it’s
refreshing to hear from an
artist.”
Maddi Jane echoed his
sentiments in explaining her
long-term goal for her career,
“I want to have an influence on
pop music and be respected as
a performer, as well as an
artist.”
To all the fans who have
supported her along the way,
she has this special message,
“Thank you so much for your
support,” Maddi said. “It
means the world to me.”
